Hyaluronic Acid: A complex sugar molecule occurring naturally in the body, hyaluronic acid hydrates by drawing water into the outer layers from deep within the skin. It holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, and leaves skin softer, plumper, and smoother. Hyaluronic acid is a type of glycosaminoglycan (sugar molecule) that attracts moisture from the environment and draws that moisture into the skin’s upper layers. Hyaluronic acid can help to improve moisture retention and may help other ingredients to perform better.
Sea Buckthorn Oil: Contains over 190 nutrients and phytonutrients. Its Vitamin C content is 12 times higher than that of an orange. The seed and fruit oil are rich in nutrients such as carotenoids, tocotrienols, and tocopherols. They are loaded with antioxidants like phenols, terpenes, and glucosides; vitamins A, C, and E; beta-carotene; plant sterols. Extremely high in trace elements such as copper, iron, selenium, and manganese. It is the only plant source that contains omega 3, 6, 7, and 9.
